Here is the finished product of Dracula. We chose to start with a supporting character so all the trial and error isn’t on a main character. With that being said we are pleased with how it turned out, and are confident the other characters will come out equally successful.
After the body and arms were finished all that was left was the facial features and accessories. The eyes and teeth are custom made; 3D designed and printed. The nose is more sculpted foam. The hair is a wig, and the clothes are simple baby clothing, with minor alterations.
Now that we have one puppet finished we feel inspired to continue on with this project. The positive feedback we have had on how it looks has been greatly encouraging. Not only that but the constructive criticism we’ve had on the scripts, from those who have read them, has been invaluable.
This project is slowly gaining momentum, and that’s exciting. And we can’t wait to share more with you. Next week we will talk about the props we will be using.
See you soon,
Aaron and Elizabeth.
