BS&WW Prod. Journal 8: Props

So, now that all the puppets required for the first episode are complete it is time to move onto props. The foam we will be using for props is a polyethylene closed-cell foam. It’s rigid enough to create solid, sturdy forms, yet soft enough to cut and carve easily.

The puppets reside in their own little world. They are not a part of this existence. Therefore, their world needs to be created from scratch. Every piece of their shop needs to be fabricated. From the walls to the props they handle, everything is hand made specifically for the show.

After the props are constructed and painted and the set is all ready to go then we can start rehearsing and doing camera tests. Not long to go now.
